Our Mission
Wings of Love Bird Haven is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, sanctuary, rehabilitation, and, when appropriate, the rehoming of companion parrots.
The parrots in our care receive a premium diet consisting of fresh vegetables, grains, fruits, and high-quality pellet mixes. We provide education and guidance to adopters who are interested in learning proper parrot husbandry and understanding the lifelong commitment these highly intelligent, long-lived birds require.
Our thorough adoption vetting process ensures that parrots are placed in educated, loving homes prepared to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs. Parrots who prefer the companionship of other birds rather than humans are offered lifetime sanctuary in a safe, enriching environment.
In addition, we offer estate planning options for individuals wishing to ensure lifelong care for their parrots, as well as affordable boarding services for parrots in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
